About this piece

This handmade Kashmiri chain stitch piece works beautifully as a vibrant area rug or a statement wall hanging. Measuring 6×4 ft, it features a stunning floral medallion design, completely hand-embroidered.

The rug stands out with its striking color palette. A vivid turquoise blue shapes the outer border and inner frame, while the central floral medallion sits on a clean cream background. The detailed embroidery is packed with blooming flowers in bright pinks, rich blues, and warm terracotta, all connected by trailing leafy vines. A geometric chevron-patterned inner border frames the center perfectly, adding a nice contrast to the soft floral shapes.

The front is stitched with Australian wool, giving it a soft texture and keeping the colors bright. The back is finished with a strong cotton backing so it holds its shape, whether you place it on the floor or hang it up.
