About this piece

This handmade Kashmiri chain stitch piece works beautifully as a small accent rug or a lively wall hanging. Measuring a compact 3×2 ft, it is fully hand-embroidered by the team at Kash Crafts, bringing a fun, folk-art touch to any room.

The design features a dense, playful forest scene packed with wildlife. Set against a light cream background, the pattern includes an elephant, a lion, deer, an owl, and various other birds and animals. Interestingly, the creatures are stitched in varying shades of purple, lavender, and grey, making them stand out against the dark green foliage and bright pink flowers. A simple brown border frames the artwork, and a row of cream-colored tassels finishes the bottom edge.

The front embroidery is stitched with premium Australian wool, giving it a soft, rich texture and keeping the colors bold. The back is lined with sturdy cotton, so the piece holds its shape perfectly whether you place it on the floor or display it on the wall.
